February Featured Product: Belts

It hardly seems possible that we are already in our second month of 2016, but here it is, and with that comes a new featured product! February at TSB Industrial Supply is all about belts. Belts come in a variety of sizes and have a differing array of uses. We specialize in premium Carlisle brand belts such as:

Heavy Duty Industrial V- Belts

- These belts are built to withstand sources of high heat in addition to being resistant to chemicals, ozone particles and stretch, to name a few.

Synchronous/Cogged Belts

- Synchronous belts are non-slipping flexible and mechanical belts used mostly in place of chains and sprockets, thereby creating quieter operating environments and not requiring the use of lubrication.

Banded Belts

- Banded belts are built with multiple layers which prevents the belt from sliding or looping off of the drive. They are made to provide the strength of multiple belts in a single belt.

2015 EPTDA Conference in Barcelona a success!

Last month, EPTDA (EMEA Power Transmission Distributors Association) hosted their annual convention in Barcelona. 30 different countries were represented and out of these, close to 100 delegates were newcomers to the convention. Many noteworthy events occurred at this year's conventions such as:

- EPTDA hosted its most successful MD-IDEX sessions

and

-EPTDA elected a new board of directors and President for 2016.

In addition to creating more business opportunities between manufacturers and distributors and distributors and distributors, EPTDA also raised €10,295 to be donated to Salesians Fundacio Magone. a charity that supports vulnerable youth.

Next year's convention is planned to take place September 21-23 in Berlin!
